OUR LOCATION
We are located in beautiful Buffalo, NY. Buffalo is the 2nd largest city in New York State and is located in Erie County, NY. Our city is located on the shoreline of Lake Erie. If you live in this neck of the woods, you can access Canada using any of three international bridges: the Peace Bridge, the Rainbow Bridge or the Lewiston-Queenston bridge.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept all major credit cards or PayPal. Your information will be collected and processed on Secure Servers. No information is stored on our web site. If your credit card is declined for any reason, you should return to our site and reorder. your items.

SHIPPING POLICY
U.S. Post Office Priority Mail delivery options offer real value for the money! Therefore, if you do not need special handling or expedited service - please choose the U.S. Postal Service delivery option in our shopping cart. All shipping charges will be displayed prior to your final check out. Most orders are processed and shipped the same day.

If you need special handling or need your order to arrive by a specific date - please email us after placing your order. You can also write us a short note with any special instructions as you leave our shopping cart.

Fuel and delivery surcharges continue to be imposed by all major shipping and transportation companies. The rising cost of delivery services are affecting every consumer and company. “Free shipping” offers may be offered by some of our competitors, but ALL businesses need to recover their true costs of shipping & handling.

Buffalo Sponge Candy charges only a fair and reasonable price for our unique products. We do not add "shipping & handling" charges - there are NO additional markups. This is the most direct and simple business strategy and gives our customers the greatest choice of products with timely delivery which allows us to remain in business over the long term.

We will always stand behind the quality of our product and strive to provide the best customer service. We have many loyal customers who consistently return to our candy store - so we must be doing something right!

DELIVERY TIME
We strive to ship all orders from our store within 1 business day, however, the total number of days that it will take for your package to arrive is primarily determined by the destination zip code.

USERNAME AND PASSWORD
When you create a customer account at our web store, you will be able to take advantage of many features on our site including a review of your past orders. WARM WEATHER SHIPMENTS
As hard as we try, Buffalo Sponge Candy will NOT be responsible for melted candy shipped to warm weather destinations.  If you have any questions, please email us for additional information.  We will be happy to assist you in resolving any questions about potential damage in transit or packaging requirements.  Remember – Sponge Candy loves cool weather!

GIFT CARDS & NOTES
If you want us to include a note card for that very “special occasion” - just add a short note in the "Optional Comments" box before you check out. We will be happy to include a handwritten note card with your personal message. Buffalo Sponge Candy believes that it’s the little things in Life that make a difference - especially when it is a special birthday or anniversary! There is no extra charge for this service. Karol is our Customer Service person [ and resident artist ] and will often draw some art work on the note card just to make it even more special!

CANADA Destinations
At this time, we do NOT deliver to Canada.

SALES TAX
We charge sales tax for orders delivered to any address within New York State. Since there are many variations in sales tax rates by county in New York – we will simplify your life by charging only a flat rate of 8 percent. We will make up any difference in the sales tax!

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Shopping at our web store is safe and secure. Your order is processed using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, none of our customers have ever reported any credit card fraud as a result of placing orders with us. For added security, we do NOT store any of your personal credit card information on our web site. Your credit card information will only be used to process the current transaction using Secure Servers at PayPal or the credit card processing service.

PRIVACY STATEMENT
In short, Buffalo Sponge Candy will NEVER share any personal information, any e-mail address or telephone numbers that you may provide to us in the course of doing business on our web site. It’s as simple as that!
